Google made a TV also, which has YouTube, Netflix and among others, regular TV. Don't really know how the TV part works, needs to be more looked into. I think it's also Open Source.

These are different aproaches on the same problem. Every device mentioned above is trying to bring content to the TV. I will need to look more into all of them, to understand how they actually work.
For now I have a different idea, with http://www.ustream.tv/. Ustream, like the name says, streams the content of your choice. From your cellphone, webcam or desktop. What I'm thinking now is to use Ustream for every pc connected to the pc and just show the content from other Ustream PC clients.
